The room worked well for our overnight visit, with two single beds and a double, all comfortable and well kept. We also had a full bathroom, a mini fridge, and a small coffee station. We appreciated the practical touches. When we arrived at Florencia's overnight accommodation, a very sweet lady welcomed us warmly. I can’t remember her name, but her kindness and effort to make us feel at home really set a comforting tone for the stay. There were a few things that kept this from being perfect. Two locked doors in the room lead to the main house, and we would have felt more secure with deadbolts on our side. We could hear voices next door, though they didn’t continue through the night and it wasn’t a major problem for us. Reversing out of the steep driveway with our trailer was also a little tricky, and it came unhooked, which was a minor inconvenience. It was still a highly enjoyable stay, mostly thanks to Florencia's wonderful hospitality. Security on those doors and soundproofing could use some improvement, but they didn’t take much away from the experience. We’d recommend this cozy, welcoming place for an overnight stay.

Evelyn made this stay for us. She was so warm and helpful, and the best service I’ve had in South Africa. She deserves a pay rise. We couldn’t have asked for more. The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy, and the location was great.

The receptionist makes you feel right at home and even serves breakfast like you’re at a 7-star hotel. What a lovely person, keep it up! The room was nice and warm with an electric blanket, especially welcome this time of year. Such an affordable price too. I’ll be back again and again.

The owner of Florentin Guesthouse kindly waived the cancellation fees when I had to cancel at the last minute. I’m grateful for their understanding and kindness. That gesture says a lot about their care for customers, and I’d happily recommend the establishment.
