Everything else was excellent: clean rooms and good internet. The only drawback was that the TVs offered open view channels, with no DSTV or internet TV. A great place to stay over.

The lunch for my brother’s 80th birthday was tasty and well prepared. The atmosphere felt homely and pleasant. Highly recommended!

The rooms are much bigger and cleaner than the photos suggest, and there was always hot water. I’m still amazed by how good the stay was. Communication and service were among the reasons I’d return. The staff were so friendly, especially the receptionist, who really went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and looked after. Thank you, SOLO GRACIA. Keep it up. The hotel staff were mostly friendly, but the people at the on-site restaurant, including the two owners, came across as cold and unwelcoming. No one tried to put us at ease or even gave us a simple greeting. My colleague and I were there for about a week, and the rooms we were given were dirty, with grimy curtains and mold on the doors and walls. The locks also didn’t work properly, and we had to struggle with them. There wasn’t any shower gel. When we asked, we were just told, “It’s finished,” even though they’d known about our arrival two weeks ahead. The shampoo smelled like Bob Martin dog shampoo, and there was no handwash in the bathroom. The rooms were incredibly cold in winter, with no heater or electric blanket. The air from the AC didn’t reach around the large room either. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it.
