Glen Eden Farm

We had a great time here, and the place is clearly loved, well run and well maintained. The bathrooms were modern, spotless and beautifully kept, with the best showers we’ve had at a campsite so far. Our son had a blast on the playground, in the pools and running around the big grassy areas, and the animals were a huge highlight for him. Each site is incredibly spacious, with its own braai, seating area, firepit and even a hot tub. There’s also a bar and pizzeria on site serving awesome pizzas. We’ll 100% be back!

This time we brought family over from the UK and stayed in Honeybee and Sugarbird. We all had an incredible time, and I’m pretty sure we’ll book again when they visit. We’ve been to Glen Eden many times, with and without dogs, when our child was a baby and later as a 3yr old. The new pool area is awesome for kids and adults. The walks are relaxing even though it was very windy, and having both a plunge pool and a wood fired hot tub is such a bonus. We all loved the touch farm and getting to feed the animals. We were disappointed that the pool closed at 7pm or 8pm, especially with the kids. We’re used to facilities where it stays open until 10pm or 11pm. That’s the only reason I’m not giving five stars. The farm itself is beautiful and very well maintained, the staff are friendly and always ready to help, and the restaurant’s food and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced.

We stayed for four midweek days, 23-27 February 2026, at the most beautiful campsite we’ve ever been to. Our private site had a hot tub that we enjoyed every evening, plus a standing braai, a lovely round braai and a lapa with a bench and electric light. The grounds and facilities were outstanding, especially the modern, spacious ablution block with everything you need. The park, pools, cocktail bar and pizza oven were tastefully decorated, and the staff were extremely helpful with great spirit. That amazing cocktail made me feel like I was in Zanzibar!
