The view was lovely, and everyone was hospitable. My children couldn’t enjoy the pool, though, because the chlorine was so strong it burned their eyes and noses.

It’s a nice place, but the pool chlorine is so strong that you can’t really swim.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with eggs, pork sausages, bacon, mince, mushrooms, fried potatoes, bread, cereal, coffee and more. We’d arrived around 7pm, when a welcoming lady met us at the gate, showed us in and took us to our room. The room was clean and nicely set up, and the staff were friendly and kind. My wife and I had a wonderful overnight stay.

I was here for a week on business and found the stay very comfortable. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, heater and DStv. The owner was accommodating with requests she could manage and knew the area and nearby attractions well. It’s less than five minutes from central Butterworth and a little over an hour from East London.
