At 405 New Cumberland, we had blocked drains and electricity problems, and ended up having to find somewhere else to stay. The place is beautiful, but the management was terrible. Llewellyn, who manages it, was arrogant and not helpful at all. They’d known about the problems for a while and didn’t tell us, so we had to discover them ourselves and move out. Absolutely horrific experience. Thank you to Airbnb for the help and excellent service.

The room was neat and pleasant, and the view from this beachfront spot was amazing. It’s a lovely place to watch the sunset, especially when the evening light comes into the accommodation. If I return to Cape Town, I’d like to stay here again.

Apartment 501 is spacious, and the ocean and mountain views stretch across every room and the living room. From the master bedroom you can look out at the ocean from bed, while the living room is a great spot to watch the sunset. You can even see skydivers throughout the day. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, including a washer and dryer. I had a wonderful stay, with only the occasional power outage as a downside.
