Our room was roomy and comfortable, and the breakfast was a real highlight. The staff are warm and helpful, and communication was easy, with Maon always available. It’s centrally placed for getting around, with secure off-street parking, and was surprisingly quiet despite being so close to the main road. We had a lovely stay and will come back next time we're in town.

I liked this guest house enough to cancel another booking and return for three nights after spending eight nights here earlier in the month and travelling to another city in South Africa. The Victorian building is lovely, and the staff and location were just as good. Maon was friendly and helpful even before I arrived, and helped sort out reservation and transport problems. Lynette, Helen, and Abigail were always smiling and ready to help. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with a fridge, safe, and plenty of clothes storage. Wi-Fi was free and reliable. Breakfast is buffet style with a good mix of hot and cold choices, even for picky eaters like me. There’s also a pool by the entrance, though it was too cold for me in July, and parking on site. The location feels safe and makes a lot of places easy to reach on foot: the Spar on the corner, lots of restaurants and bars, the stadium, V & A Waterfront, Green Point Park, and Sea Point Promenade. Walking through the park toward the lighthouse also gets you close to the Hop-on, Hop-off bus stop. I’d gladly return to Cape Town and this guest house.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and we found the location excellent. Lynnet and Abby were cheerful, helpful hosts, and made our 10-year-old feel especially welcome. There was a good range at breakfast.

We found the guesthouse welcoming, with friendly staff, generous rooms, and a tasty breakfast. It’s also very well located.
