The rooftop pool was a great amenity, and the location was amazing.

Getting around was easy: the hotel is close to several MyCiti Bus stops, within walking distance of many attractions, and has a complimentary shuttle to the V&A. Our rooms were thoughtfully laid out and had modern finishes, underfloor heating, a kitchen, lounge, dining table, and a shower with a bath. The staff were professional and efficient. We were very happy with the facilities, and although most are outsourced, everything was well maintained.

The office space is spacious, clean, and scenic, with a view over the rooftop pool. Being on the 7th floor is no problem while the lifts are working. During a power failure, though, the lifts stop and using the stairs becomes a challenge.

The room paint fumes were so strong they made me sick. I’d chosen the place partly for its gym, but was told on arrival that it was closed. I waited about 20 minutes for someone to let me in, and then the key didn’t work. One of the worst experiences I’ve had.
