Kendal Guest House will be my first choice if I need somewhere to stay in Cape Town again. I was visiting from the USA on holiday and was very happy with my accommodation. My room was spacious, extremely clean and had everything I could need. The hostess was helpful at check-in and with anything extra I asked for. A petrol station and shop were within walking distance, which made picking up anything I needed easy. There were beautiful parks nearby for walks and enjoying the weather.

The cottages were extremely neat and tidy, and fully equipped, including kitchens with all the necessary appliances. My daughter and I stayed here for a long while. The area felt tranquil and safe, and it was central, less than 2 km from Tygervalley Mall. All the staff were helpful. It felt like a home away from home, and I highly recommend this guesthouse.

Everything was neat and tidy, and cleaning services were provided. The hostess was very friendly when we arrived and always helpful. The guest house is conveniently placed near laundries and shops, in a safe, well-kept neighbourhood. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I really don't recommend this accommodation. It's terrible, with unkind, rude service. You have to pay for electricity and cleaning, and the linen and towels are changed only once a week. They use too much electricity each day, so we end up responsible for it. The staff always say, "owner's opinion."
