Our room was neat and very clean, with a lovely view and a peaceful feel. Linda was such a friendly, attentive hostess. We had a wonderful experience staying over this past weekend and will definitely check in again later this year.

The apartments are clean and well maintained, and the setting is beautiful, with great views and a really peaceful atmosphere. Linda was a friendly, helpful hostess. Parking might get a bit tight when more guests arrive, though we were lucky to have the whole place to ourselves.

I’ve stayed at A Place In Thyme several times while visiting family, and every visit has been superb. The garden is lovely, and the units are always spotless and comfortable. Linda, Leon and Fiona are a fantastic team who take care of every detail. I haven’t found a single thing to criticize, and I don’t even look at other options since I doubt there’s better value for this standard. I’m looking forward to bringing my whole family for a future vacation, and know they’ll be happy too. Thanks again for another great stay. I can’t recommend 'A Place In Thyme' highly enough. Until next thyme!

During loadshedding, we still had wifi, TV with Netflix, a portable stove, and hot water for showers. Linda took care to make sure we had everything we needed. Our studio was clean, tidy, and well equipped, with an amazing view. Fish Hoek is a peaceful town, well placed for beaches and nearby Simonstown, including Boulders Beach, and the city is easy to reach by car or train. Great value for seeing beautiful Cape Town. I’d highly recommend it.

Fish hoek had a water leak, so Linda bought a 5l bottle of drinking water and made sure we could still use the bathroom facilities. She went out of her way to make our stay memorable. Thank you, Linda, for making it such a pleasurable and enjoyable visit.
