A Sunflower Stop - Hostel

There wasn’t really anything negative. My room faced the garden and street, but earplugs and white noise were enough and I slept perfectly. The private suite had everything I needed, and the hostel had a great atmosphere. The staff were amazing, so kind, professional, and helpful. The positive reviews make sense. I was impressed and only wish I’d had more time there.

The hosts were warm and helpful, offering ideas for places to visit and helping us plan our day. It’s also close to the seaside, where a walk is a must. We stayed in a suite, so didn’t get the dorm experience, but everyone seemed really nice. The location felt comfortable and easygoing. We had a great time.

Management gave good service, but the bartenders were very poor. They need training, and I think local people should be hired for those jobs. The overseas bartenders don’t know how it works.

If you care about being treated like a human being, stay far away. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Even though we’d paid in full before arriving, staff treated us as if we didn’t belong. The discrimination felt obvious and disgusting. They wouldn’t help us or refund us after failing to provide what we’d paid for. A place like this should feel welcoming, but it was the opposite. The staff were rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. There was no hospitality or kindness, just disrespect.
