Aloha Lodge was a lifesaver while I looked for a suitable apartment in Cape Town. Annette was accommodating in every way, and the welcoming, supportive atmosphere made my stay comfortable and stress-free. It’s centrally located, so getting to Blouberg and the city is easy, and the beach is close by. The stunning swimming pool was a bonus and a great place to relax. I highly recommend Aloha Lodge to anyone who needs a home away from home.

We loved staying here. The room was good, and the bed is genuinely top quality, which matters so much for getting a good night’s rest. Aloha Lodge is clean and has a nice mix of ways to relax, have fun, or mingle with other guests. Annette, the owner, is very sweet and always ready to help. Thanks to Annette and the team for the good service. This will be our place when we return to South Africa. Until next time.

Staying at the lodge when I come to CPT is always a pleasure. It feels like home, with a little family around you, and many guests return year after year because they enjoyed their previous visits so much. The ambience is special, and the location is great, near both the city centre and the beach, with good surf spots nearby. The lodge is clean and comfortable. Annette and her staff, Cynthia and Dickson, care a lot about their work, are always helpful, and are there when you need them. I’m already looking forward to coming back this year and having a lekker time with great people at my second home.

For the price they charge, this really isn’t worth it. The owner was pleasant and seemed to care somewhat about guests, but I booked four nights of bed and breakfast for business. The bed was not too bad, but mosquitoes were basically sucking you dry. There was no fan, no air conditioning, and not even anything to keep the mosquitoes away. I can’t really comment on the breakfast, because what I got didn’t feel like breakfast: two slices of toast, two slices of cheese, and two slices of cold meat. I wouldn’t tell anyone to stay there. It might suit a backpacker or someone who needs somewhere to spend a late night before moving on in the morning, but for a holiday or anything longer than a day, it isn’t worth the asking price.
