The view and location were the only things I liked. The rest felt empty, with no heart or soul. This is just budget rooms to let, definitely not a guest house or a great house. Breakfast wasn’t worth mentioning, nothing was fresh, and we only saw the lady once. She couldn’t even say goodbye. I travel around the world, and this was the worst place I’ve stayed. It was overpriced, and we could have found something better for less. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Nothing more to say. 😔

Bert and his wife are kind people, and we had a great experience from the moment we arrived and got the induction. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anchor Bay Guest House, it was absolutely worth it. The place was neat and to a high standard, with impeccable room service. We especially liked the excellent supplies in the bedroom and common areas, including wines. We’d definitely return on our next trip to Capetown.

The location worked really well for us, with the beach a short walk away and the V&A waterfront about 30 minutes on foot or a short bus ride. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and there was complimentary wine, tea, and coffee. We also enjoyed relaxing or watching TV in the communal lounge. Burt was a really friendly, helpful owner who did everything he could to make our stay perfect. Excellent stay.

The guesthouse is centrally located, and Green Point Lighthouse is an easy walk away. Our room was comfortable and we felt very safe. The hosts were so welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable.

Burt, the owner, gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel at home. We were only in CT for a few nights, but the location was perfect, with beautiful views, a comfortable room, and a great price. The staff were always ready to help, and we really appreciated Burt’s personal suggestions and recommendations for our trip. A beautiful, charming guest house, and we hope to come back soon. ❤️
