We stayed at The Studio, a little gem in Melkbos. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and was great value for the money. The bed was lovely too. Thanks, we’ll be back!

The broken tiles were a real concern. There were several signs of wear around the property, and the tiles felt like a health hazard. We were wary of walking barefoot in case we cut ourselves. The overall maintenance left a lot to be desired. Still, the natural scenery is spectacular, and the views and location were the highlight of our stay at Atlantic Studio. It’s also convenient for local attractions and amenities. With better upkeep and some repairs, it could be a wonderful place to stay. As it is, our experience was average, though there’s potential for improvement.

The Loft had everything we needed, with tasteful furnishings, an amazingly comfortable bed and an enormous bathroom with a huge bath. The balcony view of the mountain and the sea was out of this world. Thoughtful touches for the cold nights included a gas heater and an electric blanket. We stayed from June 26 to July 1, 2022, and had an awesome time. Huge thanks to Mike for the amazing memories. We’re looking forward to staying there again.

The owners gave us a warm welcome and trusted us with access, even though we didn’t meet them. They were caring and helpful. The rooms were very clean, with attention to the finer details, and the views were good. It’s easy to get to the beach, and the price felt logical and reasonable. I’d recommend it, and think others should take a look at Atlantic loft and studio as a bit of a benchmark.
