Aurora Guest Units

Ian is such a kind host and goes above and beyond whenever you need something. The unit was spacious, very clean, and wonderfully stocked, and the gardens are absolutely gorgeous. I'll definitely stay here again and again, both for the accommodation and for Ian. It felt like a home away from home!

The neighbourhood was really nice, and I felt safe during my three-week stay. The host cleaned the room once a week. He was very kind, but sometimes too kind for me. He'd offer to go out together, and I'd decline and say I wasn't planning to go anywhere with him. I don't usually feel uncomfortable quickly, but I did here. This is just my perspective. There were some issues with the unit. The windows didn't shut completely, so when I went outside I had to cover one with a shirt because people could look straight into the bathroom. The host told me when I arrived that someone had once broken in, which I don't think is something you should tell a guest. I was also told the wardrobe door wouldn't open all the way. The bathroom was quite nasty, with water leaking on the ceiling. If I used the warm water once, it was ice cold when I tried again later. Even so, it was a perfect place for a long stay.

I spent all of February 2025 at Aurora Guest Units and would recommend the complex. The price was competitive, the service very good, and the location amazing. The clean, well-furnished units each have 100Mbps Wi-Fi and are secure, with secure parking too.

I've been staying here for a while, and it's so quiet. The owner is very friendly and always ready to help. Each room has its own outdoor space, with private balconies upstairs and a little garden nook downstairs. It's also close to the spar if you need groceries.
