Green Point Park is only about five minutes away, with plenty of space for kids to play on the grass. The guest house has a charming owner, and getting into town takes around ten minutes by car. Sea Point is lively, and Camps Bay, with its beachfront, is nearby too. A lovely place to stay.

Cher came through for us at very short notice and made the stay memorable. Avatara is in a perfect spot, and we had a real pleasure staying here. Thanks for the hospitality, we’ll certainly be back.

There were roaches downstairs, and our room door wouldn’t shut properly. Then, when we left the room in perfect condition, getting the deposit back from the owner was difficult. It was eventually paid in some strange format.

The room was immaculate, and the welcome was so warm. Staff were helpful and friendly, which made it feel like a home away from home. We could use the tea and coffee facilities too.
