We arrived to find that the room we’d asked for had been booked out, even though I’d paid a deposit in July for December and confirmed a week beforehand that everything was in order. The place also had no kitchen for self catering, as I’d requested, and we had to share a bathroom. I ended up paying the neighbour to let us stay at their house for the night. When I asked for my money back, he got stroppy. I’m disgusted by how we were treated.

What was advertised wasn’t what I found. It felt dirty and unsafe, and nowhere near a 3 star place. The owner didn’t even know how many guests to expect. I wouldn’t recommend it.

This place feels like it was built in the 70s and never updated. It’s decrepit and dirty, with poor facilities. A ripoff, and I’ve stayed in better backpacker lodges.

The place leaks from all sorts of angles, so bring a raincoat. I also found rats in the kitchen, and there are structural problems that make it a health and safety risk. The owner treats people like trash, management is arrogant, and rates can go up within a day or two. Filthy dump.
