I stayed at the Belmont Guest House from December 2023 to February 2024, and Craig and his team made it feel welcoming from the start. They looked after all the details with real warmth. My room was in excellent shape, and everything was spotless. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and clean, with easy access to different parts of the city. Craig also had great suggestions for coworking spaces, evening plans, and places to enjoy the surrounding nature. It made the stay memorable. I’d happily recommend it.

The room had a comfortable bed, a good shower, aircon and a fan, plus a fridge and mini kitchen. There’s cooking equipment if you need it, and some nice snacks too. The place has lots of character, is shipshape, and offers a great view of Table Mountain. It’s a quiet place to rest, with everything close by. Craig is an interesting, exceptional host. A lovely surprise location and excellent value.

Anna Marie makes guests feel like friends, and the breakfasts are tasty. The rooms are spacious, and you can use European power plugs without bringing an adapter. Belmont Guest House is in a pretty part of Cape Town, at the foot of Table Mountain and close to everything. Oranzjecht district felt safe to us, though the bars and fences are simply part of how this city is. I’d recommend staying here, and hope we can return one day.

The breakfasts were excellent, and Belmont is a comfortable, good value choice if you want to stay somewhere central in Cape Town. There’s no pool or air conditioning, but the location is great, on the edge of Table Mountain and close to the waterfront and other attractions in the desireable Orange District. Anne Marie welcomed me after my late arrival and arranged a taxi. I felt at home from the time I arrived until I left, and she was very accommodating with my requests. I, along with the other guests, hated having to leave. Thanks to Anne Marie and everyone at Belmont for such an enjoyable stay.

From the front patio and kitchen, the view of Table Mountain is mesmerising. The guesthouse is beautiful, and my room was comfortable. Craig and Andrew were lovely, and Medeline, Chris, Muzi and Patrick were fantastic.
