We spent four days in the Mountain Pride room for our honeymoon, and we can’t wait to come back. With only eight rooms, the place feels intimate and welcoming, and the space and grounds are beautiful. Breakfast each day was spectacular, and they were quick to make us a delicious takeaway coffee in the morning. The staff are so kind that you really feel like family. They made sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable throughout. A wedding photo and personalized note were waiting for us when we arrived. A special thank you to Tumi, David, Carlington, Walter, Siya, and everyone else at Camissa House. You’re wonderful people, and we look forward to seeing you again!

The staff were wonderful and very accommodating during our four nights at this lovely boutique hotel. We enjoyed the made to order breakfast, the treats, and all the complimentary drinks. They also offered a driver to take us to and pick us up from any dinner reservation in the city, and shared lots of ideas for places to visit. It felt like having a private concierge around the clock.

We first stayed at Camissa House for our honeymoon three years ago and were eager to return. It exceeded our expectations again. The staff are amazing and always ready to help make your stay perfect. The setting is stunning, overlooking Cape Town at the foot of Table Mountain. You can walk straight out of the hotel and head up the mountain. Other accommodation doesn’t come close for us. Camissa House was our first stop on a South Africa honeymoon, and it gave us everything we’d hoped for and more. It sits at the foot of Table Mountain, with incredible views over Lion’s Head Mountain and the city. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were warm, professional, and accommodating. We loved the delicious breakfast, the evening snacks and drinks, and the spacious, comfortable rooms. The free ride into the city center was a nice extra. We won’t hesitate to stay at Camissa House next time we’re in Cape Town.

Camissa House made the first stop of our honeymoon feel so special. Everyone was kind and genuine, remembered our first names, and knew our drink and breakfast orders. Thanks to Tumey, Faseegh, Chef, and David, and to Iyanda for shuttling us to and from dinner. It’s a beautiful property that felt like home away from home.
