Cap Serein was perfect for a holiday, and my partner and I can't wait to return. In Hout Bay, it was close to everything we wanted to do, from seal snorkelling and the bird sanctuary to Clay Cafe and the beach. The rooms were private and comfortable, and the Wifi was amazing. The newly installed solar panels were a welcome break from load shedding, making the stay even more relaxing. Our friendly, accommodating hosts made it extra special, and relaxing in the hot tub with that stunning view was the cherry on top. Thanks, Cap Serein, for such a great experience. We can't wait to come back.

Petra, the hostess, was lovely and made sure we were comfortable. And Odine, the German Shepard, stole our hearts! Everything was nice and clean, and the terrace views were wonderful. The jacuzzi was amazing too. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better getaway. It felt like a hidden gem, and we'll definitely be back.

Our cottage was close to the main house, with a comfortable bed and a big bath. We loved the pool and the amazing view from the terrace. It felt like a little oasis in suburban Cape Town, a lovely place to escape the city's buzz and rest. We enjoyed our stay so much that we wished we could have stayed longer.

The calm at Cap Serein made our anniversary and my husband's birthday wonderfully relaxing. We loved the pool, jacuzzi and accommodation, and felt it was money well spent. Petra was friendly, welcoming and always there with a smile whenever we needed her. The accommodation was excellent and clean. We'll definitely recommend it and come back!

We felt safe and secure here, and even without a car we could walk to the bird sanctuary. Uber also works well in the area. The guest house was beautiful and very clean, with good sized rooms and a good shower. From the pool and dining area, the mountain and Hout Bay views are amazing, and breakfast was great quality. After a 12 hour overnight flight, it was an idyllic first stop in South Africa. Petra and her husband were helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We'd definitely stay again.
