Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel

The breakfasts at Upper Union Restaurant next door were fresh and varied, and we felt safe walking to nearby restaurants in the evenings. We stayed five nights in February at The Cape Cadogan, and the team made us feel looked after from the friendly welcome onward. They were helpful, discreet, and fun to be around. Our laundry was handled faster than anywhere else we can remember. The suite was beautifully clean, with lovely bed linen, and its little terrace was just right for morning tea. We wanted for nothing, apart from perhaps a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. We had a very comfortable stay and would love to come back soon.

We spent four nights in Cape Town at this beautifully restored boutique property to start our African trip. Its Gardens location just off Kloof made it easy to walk to all sorts of restaurants, and breakfast is included, so we’d definitely begin the day there. The staff were lovely and accommodating. One person in our group needs a strict gluten-free diet, and the restaurant made special meals and treats for her each day. The rooms are nicely appointed and have all the necessary amenities. There’s also a van that can drop you off nearby for a reasonable fee.

The team made our honeymoon feel special the whole time, and their kindness really stayed with us. When we had a small medical emergency, they responded calmly and quickly, so we felt safe and cared for. The food, drinks, and service were all amazing, with everything feeling personal and thoughtful. We couldn’t recommend Cape Cadogan more. It made the trip unforgettable.

The rooms were huge and spotless, and the pool was epic. Staff really went above and beyond, and the margaritas were five-star. It’s a stunning place in a super cool part of Cape Town. Grab a cocktail at the bar before dinner next door, the food was unreal.
