The staff made the guesthouse feel special. Everyone was friendly and worked hard to make our stay a pleasure, and we’d gladly return. We also loved the generous breakfast each morning before heading out to explore the Cape. Cape’s Finest guesthouse is well placed between the CBD and the beaches, with everything close by. The neighborhood felt safe, and there were great restaurants and bars nearby. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, and the roof terrace had a fantastic view of table mountain. Highly recommended.

The neighborhood felt safe and lovely, and it was quiet and clean. We had a spacious room and the hosts were wonderful, always doing all they could for their guests. It’s a short drive to the VA Waterfront shopping and dining area, and the cruise terminal is close too. Breakfast at a nearby cafe was included and delicious. A really lovely place to stay in Cape Town.

The location is excellent, and breakfast was good, but Room 3 was a disappointment. There was a constant humming sound, and the door let through every noise. Its small frosted window offered no view, which made the room feel a bit like a prison cell. The toilet setup was the worst part for us. It’s beside the bed, separated only by a glass door that partly blocks the view but does nothing for sound or smell. That just isn’t our style. We also had to wait for the host to be there in person before we could access or leave the parking area. We checked our early.

The rooftop terrace was cool, and the location and service were both great. The bed was comfortable too. Just a couple of small drawbacks: the room was a bit tight, and vegetarians may find the breakfast selection limited.

Parking was easy, and we found the location both excellent and safe. The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was great. The one issue was the bathroom door. It was glass and open at the top, so it didn’t give much privacy. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay at Waterkant Guesthouse.
