Cape Panorama Lodge

The rooms are clean and tidy, and the location is very convenient, within walking distance of the hospital. I’d recommend it to everyone.

I spent 6.5 weeks here from January to March last year while a family member had an operation at Panorama Mediclinic. The cleaning ladies did a wonderful job turning rooms around quickly and getting them ready in no time. Schalk, Karen and especially Lance made the stay so good. Lance was always there to help, truly always. Thanks for the hospitality, I’ll be back soon. Cape Panorama Lodge would also be a good choice for a holiday, with places just a short ride away.

My family stayed at the Lodge while I was in the Cardiac Unit, and it made our short stay much easier. We felt at home, and the accommodation was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Karen, Schalk and Lance went out of their way to make the visit memorable. The Lodge is conveniently next to Panorama Mediclinic, and we’d definitely recommend it.

I needed somewhere to stay for two weeks while my house was being renovated a few suburbs away. I knew of Cape Panorama Lodge but had never stayed there, and it was a very pleasant surprise. I booked at the last minute and worried I wouldn’t find a room, but a friendly woman at the front desk arranged one almost straight away. The room was clean and had what I needed: Wi-Fi, a large cupboard, air conditioning, a smart TV, a small bar fridge, a kettle, tea and coffee, and a comfortable queen bed with a headboard. The bathroom was lovely, with a walk-in shower, and was bigger than my bathroom at home, which I’m a little embarrassed to admit. Although the Lodge is right next to the hospital, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. There was parking, plus a beautiful lounge where you can sit in the morning with freshly brewed coffee. Breakfast is available for a small charge. The staff were friendly and responsive, and they had my room cleaned by the time I finished my coffee. I really enjoyed how private it felt and how close it was by car to Canal Walk and Tygervalley Centre. Great value for money. Thanks especially to Lance and Karen for being so helpful, friendly and ready to answer my questions. I’ll stay there again.
