We ended up staying 5 nights earlier in May instead of 2 because bad weather cut our 3 day safari stay down to one day. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were professional and friendly. Patience helped us a lot with the safari and weather problem, and the stay was very good value for money. On arrival, the safe and air condtioning were both not working, though they were fixed quickly. The room should have been checked before we got there. Also, after 9 pm we couldn’t get the full range of drinks from the bar.

The shuttle service to Sea Point was really convenient, and the staff were so kind and friendly. My room was cozy and enjoyable, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was comfortable. Cape Town Hollow also has a stunning view that made the stay special. I had such a wonderful time, and honestly can’t understand why it isn’t rated 5 stars. Highly recommended!

The shuttle to the Waterfront was very convenient, and the location is perfect for a Cape Town stay. I spent four wonderful nights at the Hollow, with such friendly and helpful staff. Highly Revomended.

The hotel staff were great, but the rooms were just okay at best. The mattress was firm, the hot water was sometimes slow to get properly hot, and bugs made the stay less enjoyable than I’d hoped.

We really enjoyed being able to walk straight out the door into the beautiful gardens across the way. The breakfasts were lovely, and the location and views were excellent. A great place to stay, highly recommended.
