This is our favorite place to stay when we visit Cape Town. It’s listed as four star, but the treatment feels five star. The self-catering kitchen is the best, with lots of coffees, teas and sugars, fine china and glasses, and excellent cookware. The bedding and bathroom towels and linens are sumptuous too. The hosts and staff are warm and friendly, and go out of their way to make sure everything suits us. It’s a classy place. My husband and I use it as our benchmark for guest suites we’ve stayed in around the world, and it always comes out on top.

We spent four days in this fantastic house and had the whole wonderful oasis to ourselves. The garden is lovely, and we enjoyed the patio the whole time, either braaiing or ordering food delivery. Our host, Sanet, is such a nice and charming person. Thanks from Agneta and Peter.

Constantia Garden Suites is a real gem, in a fantastic location and run by the loveliest people. It’s so wonderful that I almost don’t want to say too much, since it might get harder to book. I couldn’t recommend it more.
