Cosimi Guest House

There are good restaurants and shops just a few minutes away, and the house and garden have such a peaceful, relaxed feel. Our room was cosy and super clean, breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent. Hazel is a warm, friendly, and attentive hostess, and she and her team make sure guests feel at home.

Hazel, the owner, cooks the food herself, and the quality is very high. I asked if she could have a takeaway breakfast ready at 6:00, and she went out of her way to do it, packing a lovely meal for me. The luxury room was tidy and well equipped. I can really recommend Cosimi.

Hazel made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived at Cosimi Guesthouse in Durbanville. The breakfasts were a real highlight, delicious and carefully put together each morning. We found the room spacious and charming, with useful self-catering facilities and thoughtful touches throughout. It had that comfortable, home-away-from-home feel. Thanks, Hazel, for looking after us so well. We’d happily return and recommend the guesthouse to anyone wanting a cozy stay in Durbanville.

I spent nearly a week here and would gladly come back on my next South Africa trip. It’s a great base near Capetown, away from the city noise. Hazel, who runs the place, was friendly and helpful throughout. I’ll especially remember the extra coffees and the good conversations, and would definitely recommend staying here.
