We booked five cottages next to each other for our family, and the central location suited the places we planned to visit. The cottages were tidy and well equipped, and we ate on site, where the food, drinks, and restaurant service were excellent. It was lovely, secure accommodation with all the amenities we could have wished for. We’d highly recommend it.

The cottages didn’t feel worth the price to me. The furniture was dated and there was nothing that felt special. The shower and basins needed a proper scrub. There was also a messy problem outside cottages 7/8. A tree dropped some kind of berry or something, and it covered my car. Underfoot it turned mushy and got onto our shoes, so we tracked it through the cottage. There was no way to avoid it. If the place upgrades, I’ll definitely come back.

We filled all 12 self-catering units as a group for a 60th birthday party. Coming into a cozy chalet with the heaters already on was the best part. It made me want to curl up with chocolates and a good book.

The setting, the kindness, the hospitality, all incredible. I’m definitely coming back. You don’t often get service like this, and I was blown away.

We waited four hours, but they didn’t give us seats even though we’d reserved yesterday. They didn’t even offer cold water. Yoh, hayke voetsek.
