Only a minute from the beach, and great for anyone into water sports. I felt safe here, and the power generator meant I didn’t have to deal with the constant power cuts in South Africa. I could work from here too. The accommodation is mega cool, and everyone else should enjoy it as well. Highly recommended!

We’ll definitely come back and stay even longer. The hosts are friendly and always helpful, and the service, internet, cleaning, garden, and pool are excellent. It also worked really well for a workation and a longer stay. The location is outstanding, in a safe, pleasant, quiet neighborhood very close to the beach, with a fantastic view depending on the apartment you rent. It’s not far from the city, and there’s surfing, tennis, golf, running, biking, and hiking nearby.

Da Heim is in Sunset Beach, a great suburb in the beautiful city of Cape Town. The beach is about a 30-second walk, roughly 100m from the front door, so kite surfers, wind surfers, and beach lovers don’t need to drive there. The staff are great and the place is spotless. There’s an Olympic-length pool too, so you can start the day with a few laps. Highly recommended.

That sunset by the beach was lovely, and the Atlantic shore was only a short walk away. I stayed for a month in May 2018 and found the accommodation neat and clean, with a nice pool and good free Wi-Fi. The MyCiti bus stop called "sunset beach" was about a 10-minute walk, and there was a Woolworth branch roughly five minutes away. The neighbors in the other room were really nice too. Ms. Nadine, the manager, was very helpful, and Charles, who came to service the room, always had a smile and worked hard. Excellent, in a word. I’d happily stay again on my next visit.
