The location was convenient and the value for money was great. My first stay with Home Suite Hotels, De Waterkant, has been a real pleasure. I'm quite particular about service and cleanliness, and both were excellent. The well-designed suite had everything I needed, from soft towels and luxury toiletries to a powerful hairdryer. My only small gripe was the lack of USB ports in the plugs. At the desk, there also wasn't an outlet close enough to use while charging my laptop. Apart from that, everything was marvelous. The staff were exceptionally well trained and diligent.

I've stayed here a few times and will certainly come back on future trips. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, the parking is secure, and the staff are very friendly. The location is convenient too. I did prefer the larger kitchen area in some of the suites I'd used before. This one was smaller, but still fine. I'd recommend the accommodation to other travellers.

The garage was perfect for parking, and it didn't cost extra. We also found the Wi-Fi good. The apartment was spacious and clean, with plenty of water, coffee, tea and cookies. It's a safe 20-minute walk to the V&A Waterfront, and the Bo-Kaap area with its many restaurants is close by. The electronic face recognition didn't work very well, but reception sorted it out.

I like self-catering, and this unit had a good balance for my short business trip. There wasn't a view, which didn't bother me since I was right on the waterfront and could easily get to nice places. Driving there was tricky, though. Make sure you have the correct address, as I had to make several calls before finding someone who could help.

The room was spacious, very chic, and furnished with comfortable new furniture. I stayed seven nights at Home Suits de Waterkant and enjoyed it overall. The staff were friendly, I felt safe with the face-recognition system, and the Waterkant location was great. The supermarket was just around the corner, the V&A Waterfront was a 10-minute walk away, and the neighbourhood seemed safe to me. The cleaning team was outstanding. Every day they kept the room tidy, washed the dishes, and replenished the tea and coffee. The room itself, though, wasn't very practical. I booked looking for a kitchen, but there was no stove, only a microwave with oven functionality. There was no sponge, so I had to wash things by hand, and no proper knife, which made cutting an apple difficult. The TV faced the couch and couldn't be turned toward the bed. The door didn't lock by itself either. I had to turn the key manually and leave it in the lock. The lighting looked nice but was very bright, and I missed having a cosier feel.
