The tour with Moses was a highlight, and the service throughout our one-night stay was magnificent. We first had to locate the house on a busy road, but stepping inside brought an immediate wow. The art gallery and the artwork on the walls were beautiful, and I was especially amazed by how much detail had gone into the Wine gallery.

We had such a relaxing, wonderful stay at Ellerman House. The spa treatment was next level, and the team’s passion showed in every detail, from the personalized cocktails made by the barmen to the tempting food at Curate. Everything felt like tasteful luxury, with superb attention throughout.

The thoughtful touches, complimentary late checkout, and the team’s effort to make everything special meant a lot to us. The food was phenomenal, and every meal felt like fine dining. We felt at home in the elegant rooms, with those breathtaking views and warm, personal service. Marilie Prinsloo, thank you for your kindness and professionalism as House Manager, and Michelle, for your attentive, welcoming hospitality. Our time in Cape Town was all the more memorable thanks to you both. We can’t wait to return to our “home on the hill.” Thank you, Ellerman House, for an unforgettable visit. — Calvin & Aphodia

The art collection was a real highlight, showcasing South African talent with both contemporary style and cultural depth. The interiors were inviting and elegant, each space carefully put together and full of character. Even with the recent rain in Cape Town, we saw a beautiful sunset, and the staff were incredibly warm. My travel team and I visited Ellerman House yesterday evening, and it exceeded our already high expectations. The bubbly and wine selection was incredible, and the canapés were beautifully presented. It was a pleasure connecting with our partners, and we look forward to more memorable stays and continued collaboration. — Nick Sadleir
