Fairmile Urban Oasis

We had our small wedding reception on the rooftop and it was such a good time. The space suited our guest numbers and the atmosphere I wanted. Rushana, the manager, was friendly and helpful all the way through. The service was top tier, and the food was amazing.

The clean bathrooms and balcony were nice, and the room was decent, somewhere in the middle of the rooms I’ve stayed in. I was there for about a week with a friend, and I liked the pool, but I left with mixed feelings. Room service was a bother at times. The woman was nice, but sometimes came in without warning while I was still in the room. A few of my things went missing. I didn’t worry too much about the eyelid tape, lip liners, and hair pins since they could have looked like trash, but my gray microfibre hair towel was a different story. It was an odd shape, unlike the hotel’s standard white towels, and I never took it out of the room. It was gone by the third night. It’s been over a year and I still miss it. That towel had travelled all over the world with me, so maybe I’m sentimental. They said they’d contact me if it turned up, but I never heard anything. If your belongings matter to you, lock them in your luggage each day.

As a solo traveler, I felt very unsafe here. There were no visible security measures, and people could come in from the street and go up to the rooms without restriction. I cancelled within a few hours of booking and asked for a refund. The response was rude and extremely unprofessional, making an already bad experience worse. I wouldn’t recommend this property and would advise others to stay elsewhere.

The apartments are roomy, clean, and tidy, with kitchenettes that have everything needed. Staff are very friendly, too. It’s handy for getting around the city, close to shops and attractions. Highly recommended.
