Goose Green Lodge

We came with our family for a few nights and felt welcome straight away. The owners were kind, everything was neat, and the terrace was a great place to relax while our little girl played in the garden. We even met the friendliest dog. There was a small jungle gym for kids, plus a pool and a lekker braaiplace. It's been a while since we stayed, but we still have lovely memories of this beautiful holiday spot and would definitely come back.

The best part for me was being able to let my child run around outside freely, especially on the jungle gym and in the sand pit, without constantly telling her not to touch things. Goose Green Lodge feels peaceful and homely, a lovely place to unwind from everyday life. The owners are so welcoming, and the person who services the chalets clearly takes pride in her work. long Beach mall is only about three minutes away if you need anything random while on holiday.

The room and bathroom were sparkling clean, the beds were comfortable, and the swimming pool was amazing. It's a little paradise, tucked away among the greenery. Vanessa Mills was such a darling. She supported us through the booking and check-in, and kept checking on us as we travelled until we arrived.

The family rooms were a great size and had all the essentials, including a microwave, stove, and utensils. The bathrooms have recently been refurbished and look great, and the beds were comfortable with clean linen. My kid spent a few hours in the pool, and the pool and braai facilities were great. Vennesa responded well by email to make sure the booking matched our request, then made sure we had everything we needed when we arrived. A wonderful host, and all in all I'd happily recommend this B&B.
