High Noon

Klaus, Steffy, the staff, and the night managers looked after us so well. We couldn’t have asked for more. Our spacious room had a balcony facing lions head, and the modern, clean hotel has touches of African culture throughout. We enjoyed the tasty breakfast and the complimentary sundown drink each evening. Since it was our honeymoon, they also included a complimentary massage, a lovely gesture. The hotel’s in a quiet part of Cape Town, with a 3 minute taxi ride to Kloof Street’s busy areas, 5 minutes to table mountain and lions head, and 10 minutes to the waterfront. We loved staying here and would recommend it.

A gorgeous breakfast, good amenities, attentive service, and lovely staff made our stay at 2 inn 1 feel just right. It’s in an upscale central neighborhood, with restaurants within walking distance, so it was a great base for exploring Cape Town. I’d make this my first choice of hotel there.

The included breakfasts were hearty, and our room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The underfloor heating was especially welcome on chilly evenings. There’s also a mobile phone in each room for getting around Cape Town, with useful numbers already programmed, including the staff’s. A thoughtful touch. We spent three nights and four days here in October 2017 while visiting Franschhoek for a wedding. The hotel is run by Klaus, Chris, and Claire, all originally from Germany, along with their team. They paid close attention to what guests needed, asking about our plans, any issues, travel, and dining each morning and helping with arrangements and bookings. It’s a well-kept boutique hotel with modern decor and attention to detail, tucked into a quiet, well-to-do suburb that’s still convenient for downtown Cape Town. Couples who aren’t on a tight budget should appreciate the service. I’d definitely recommend it, including to first-time travelers who feel nervous about Cape Town.

My family and I felt very safe here, and there were plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance. It was also easy to reach many of the interesting sights around town. The rooms and breakfast were both very nice. The owners and staff clearly take pride in looking after guests. They were spectacularly helpful with questions, tickets, and rides. We fully recommend this lovely boutique hotel in a pleasant part of cape town.
