Oliver, Fatima, Madeleine and David made us feel so at home, we really didn't want to go. Such a lovely, peaceful retreat. Everything was perfect, thank you so much.

Oliver's service was exceptional, going well beyond what you'd expect. I couldn't stay this time because they were fully booked, which is no surprise with service like that.

It's so special here I'd like to steal the whole place and hide it! Quiet, warm and peaceful, even in winter. The lodge sits on the mountainside with a distant sea view. I loved the welcome, the food, and being able to sit in one of the warm reception rooms and eat my own cheese and biscuits. Oliver, the owner, and Fatima, who looks after the guests so beautifully, make it feel especially welcoming.

A cosy, beautiful place to stay, and everyone was so friendly. The service was excellent. And breakfast, mmmm! Don't miss mama's perfect omelette, with plenty of fruit and berries and a variety of nuts.

A brilliant home away from home, and so well run. The housekeeping staff are great. Ask Oliver to cook for you, you'll never want to leave! It's a perfect base if you don't need to be on the Atlantic seaboard.
