What made the mornings special was sitting around the big breakfast table and talking about all sorts of things. It really did feel like home. The chef, who is also an owner, brought out lovely-looking omelets with chives and other herbs on pretty plates, and they tasted great too. After visiting six places in the Cape province, Blue Boutique B&B was our favorite by far. The attention to detail was incredible, and the whole place felt cozy, stylish, comfortable, cute, and welcoming. We loved meeting the owners, Katrin and Claus, and had an amazing time with them, the other guests, and the hosts. We only wish we’d stayed more nights and days. Try to fit it into your schedule, it’s a treat.

The photos on the website show the lovely house and its surroundings very accurately. It’s a great area to stay in Cape Town, and the house is beautiful, peaceful, exceptionally clean, and comfortable. Katrin and Claus were so friendly and helpful, they made us feel right at home. We spent six days here and loved every one of them. The high rating is well deserved. If I’d known about their two cute cats, we might have booked the whole holiday here!

I wish we’d booked more than two nights. Claus and Katrin, along with their lovely cats, made us feel completely at home. They’re such hospitable, friendly people. The house is cozy and beautifully decorated, in a leafy, quiet spot close to downtown and the V&A waterfront. We had a fantastic stay.

The breakfast was really tasty, and the place itself is charming. Claus and Kathrin are incredibly lovely. Amazing stay, definitely my favorite place to stay in Cape Town!

The breakfast buffet had just about everything, from sweet and savory options to fruit, nuts, cheese, and deli. I also liked the roomy, bright shared area, where it was easy to relax with a book from their big collection or have a tea. My room was cozy and very clean, and the extra private outdoor shower was a nice touch. Katrin and Claus were wonderful hosts in their lovely B&B. The pool had to go unused because of the weather while I was there, but the outdoor area was just as lovely as the rest of the property. It’s a safe place to stay, with a major shopping center only a few minutes away and Capetown Waterfront about a 10 minute UBER ride. German hospitality at its best. Highly recommend.
