I've stayed at Horizon Cottages several times and always love it. It's spotless, comfortable, and well equipped, with a warm welcome from Alana. The whole family is friendly and helpful, and Axel the dog is gorgeous too. It really feels like a home away from home.

We stayed in the Captain's Cottage in Noordhoek, and it was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. There's a jungle gym and trampoline right outside, plus a great, very clean pool. It seems like an ideal spot if you're visiting with kids, and the price is great value. Alana was kind and welcoming, especially when we arrived with a poorly baby. She went the extra mile to make sure we had what we needed, and was always friendly and quick to respond. Thanks again, Alana. I'd really recommend staying here!

We loved breakfast on the deck as the world woke up around us, and a glass of wine there in the evening before heading out to dinner was just as lovely. The chalet is spacious and has a huge, comfortable bed. It's well equipped, and the property is meticulously maintained. Alana and Vernon were very welcoming and did all they could to help us settle in. From this self-catering chalet in Noordhoek, it's easy to get to beaches, shops, restaurants, and bars. We highly recommend Horizon Cottages, especially knowing how much work Alana and Vernon have put into renovating the place since taking it over five years ago. We enjoyed it so much that we'll be back next year.

We stayed in the two-bedroom Captain's Cottage, and it had what we needed for a comfortable family visit: toddler-safe plastic cutlery, a front-loading washing machine, and an iron. The fenced grass area gave our little one plenty of room to run, while the jungle gym and trampoline kept him busy. The pool is fenced too, and there's backup power for loadshedding. Netflix and DSTV Stream were available on the TV, and coffee, tea, sugar, and milk were complimentary. The property is beside a busy road, but it didn't bother us. The trees and fence helped soften the faint traffic noise, and I appreciated the recycling bin. Alana was easy to communicate with and a wonderful host. We will definitely return.

We had a really enjoyable visit in a lovely, peaceful setting. For a nice getaway, this is the place to go. Thanks to the staff, and well done.
