I live nearby, and the place has loud parties often. Today the music started just after 12 and went on thumping for hours. If you want a peaceful getaway, check that there isn’t a party happening. Those of us in Plattekloof 3 find it absolutely inconsiderate of the owners to make residents listen to this for hours.
It’s safe, but far from beaches and attractions, and not a good choice if you aren’t driving. An Uber to central costs at least R200. The premium room was advertised with a king size bed, but we got two quarter beds. Booking sites mention a coffee maker, but there wasn’t one, which was disappointing for a coffee lover. No bath soap or hand wash was provided either. The kettle wasn’t clean, and the tea supplies didn’t look neat. Customer service was also delayed, especially through the booking site. I’m definitely not coming back.
For the price, this was an amazing getaway. The view was fantastic, and the nights were peaceful. Our room was tidy, neat, and fully equipped. Hotel Vibes felt like a home from home 🏡, with great service and a perfect setting. I’d definitely visit again.
The place was great value for money, and what you see in the pictures is what you get. Check-in was smooth, the room was spacious and clean, and I even had my own braai area. The staff were helpful and respectful. They’ve clearly thought about what guests need, and no amount of words can do justice to my stay 😻.
The view is breathtaking, the rooms are clean, and the customer service from Wungayi was great. I love this place ❤️❤️❤️❤️. If I could give it 100 stars, I would. I’m definitely coming back!
