The unit was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had everything we needed for a lovely stay at Inn Da Mood. Our hosts were so welcoming and even gave us wine. Thanks for that, we’ll recommend the place to others.

I’ve stayed here for a few days four times already, and this will be my fifth visit. The hosts and staff are great. It has what you need whether you’re staying a few nights or longer, and it’s clean, neat, and comfortable. Shops are nearby, while the place is far enough out of the city.

What made our nine days in Cape Town so special was the way Marianna and Salvan Moodley treated us like family. We were there from 30 Jan 2025 to 8 Feb2025, during Mining Indaba and SONA, after travelling from Johannesburg to enrol and settle our daughter into UCT. Finding somewhere decent at that busy time had been a nightmare. Some basic single rooms and shady places near UCT and the city were charging top dollar. Instead, INN DA MOOD GUESTHOUSE gave us a cozy two-bedroom unit. Each bedroom had a TV and en-suite, and there was also a fitted kitchen, lounge, ample parking, and braai areas. It was impeccably clean and made for a comfortable stay. The guesthouse is in Bothasig. Though it looks far from the Cape Town City Bowl and UCT, the 16km drive took us around 15-20 minutes without traffic on the N7 freeway, or about 30 minutes by alternate routes. It’s also near Durbanville Hills Winery, De Grendel Winery (2kms), Milnerton, Table Bay, Plattekloof, Tygervalley shopping malls, restaurants, and fish-and-chips outlets. Contractors or visitors to the Astron Energy refinery would find the location convenient too. Thank you, Marianna and Salvan Moodley, for taking us in and doing so much to make us comfortable. We may have found our Cape Town home away from home. The West Coast Winelands excursion is a must, it’s beautiful and unassuming.

I was here for a long work stay, and the location was excellent, close to all the amenities. The owners are caring and thoughtful, making sure you have what you need. They’re knowledgeable and great to talk with. It really feels like a home away from home.

I loved staying here. Marianna and Salvan are warm and hospitable, and they really go out of their way to help guests however they can. The location was great too. It felt like home away from home ❤️
