Kettles House

We were really disappointed and felt misled. Once you've booked, it's non-refundable, and it feels like the advertising doesn't match the place. It isn't suitable for children or babies at all. The stairs down to the pool are so steep that a child could break their neck, and the water was icy cold despite being described as solar heated. The rooms are tiny, with no space for a baby to crawl, and you can hear conversations from the other rooms. I've never been this disappointed. The whole place was a disaster.

The views were beautiful, and the bed was large and comfortable. Everything was sparkling clean, with daily room service plus complimentary Nespresso, coffee, tea, and milk. Check-in was easy even though staff had already left. I'll definitely visit again.

From the property we enjoyed romantic sunsets over the Atlantic, with views of Lyons Head, the Twelve Apostles, and Camps Bay. There are deck chairs, a pool, a garden, and a sundeck, along with friendly, helpful staff. It's centrally placed for the beach, Waterfront, Table Mountain, Robben Island, and Cape of Good Hope.

The apartments are clean and well looked after, though our floor hadn't been vacuumed properly and still had hair and drink caps on it. The pool water was quite hazy, probably because of the water shortage. The view was okay, but partly blocked by a series of buildings.
