If views and beach access are all you’re after, this place has those. The rest was awful. The rooms are tired and broken and badly need renovating. The pool areas themselves are great, and the bar staff were generally friendly, though I kept feeling they were doing me a favour. They push you to open a tab, but when it’s time to settle up, they argue among themselves about who should pay. There are only 4 umbrellas on the deck, so people sat out in 32 degree heat. I waited at least 15 mins for the bill each time. The second-floor pool area could have been peaceful, but it wasn’t cleaned regularly and had empty alcohol bottles and leftover food from the night before. Breakfast was the worst part. I waited a few minutes to be seated, then while I was getting food, they told me in front of everyone that I had to pay before eating. I left embarrassed and complained. The manager listened, but neither she nor the staff member apologized. We were considering this venue for a workshop with 150 women, but I’ve changed my mind and we’ll find somewhere else. Some staff tried hard, but most of the experience was awful.

The food was the letdown for me. Desserts were good, but the baked stuff needs a lot of work, and my croissant only scored 1/5. The restaurant views are lovely, though, and the auditorium can fit a few hundred delegates. Breakout sessions mean a lot of walking around the hotel, but staff helped me find my way. Both times I asked, someone actually walked me to the right place. The rooms are spacious and have balconies, with warm wooden touches. I liked the bathroom design too: the shower doesn't send water across the floor, and there's even a seat inside, though the shower itself is a bit small. Having an iron and ironing board provided was useful, as were the different socket types on both sides of the bed.

We had an apartment for our family of four, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room opening onto a terrace with a direct sea view. The rooms were clean and hygienic, and the service was great. The hotel sits right by the beach, with direct access and several pools, including a heated outdoor one. Breakfast had lots of choice and was really tasty. The restaurant and bar were very good too, although service there was slow.

I forgot a new item on the breakfast table one morning and only realized after I had left. When I returned that evening, I was told nothing had been handed in to lost and found. It seems someone, perhaps a guest or staff member, picked it up or stole it. I asked them to review the CCTV because it covered the spot where I had been sitting, but they said I wasn't allowed to see the footage and that only security could view it. I don't understand why they seem unwilling to check it. I was treated very differently at the Westin Hotel in 2023, where something I left behind was safely kept while I was out on an excursion. Here, staff seemed unwilling and unconcerned about helping. You are on your own. I'm sure they'd be rushing around to retrieve the footage if it had been a white person. I wonder if their indifference is because I'm black. Be careful about leaving valuables, since you may not get help finding them. Their emails aren't truthful, as you can see below.
