I stayed at LND Guesthouse over the weekend, from the 27th February 2026 till the 2nd March 2026, and was very impressed. The place was lovely, the rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and really helpful. There are lots of shops nearby, and getting an Uber in or out was easy. I'd definitely recommend it for your next trip to cape town.

At R3600 a night, I expected much better. I contacted the company afterward, but they’re refusing even a partial refund. When we arrived on 31 Dec, nobody answered the bell. People on the steps just watched us as I found a remote in the postbox, opened the gate, and discovered the front door was locked. I went around the side and found the place dirty and messy. At the back, there was one person on the couch who couldn’t speak English, and nobody available to check us in. I felt uncomfortable, so my kids and I got back in the car and left. I was extremely disappointed by both the service and the state of the property.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the pool was kept so well that I felt like swimming all the time. This beautiful guest house really felt like a home away from home. Love it, and I’ll definitely be back sometime soon. Thanks, guys!

It’s a beautiful house in a classy, quiet area, and I stayed for a week. The shared setup felt too restrictive for me, though, with everyone using the same kitchen, fridge, and microwave. My shower was also much too small, with no curtain or rail to hang one on, and no soap holder, which was inconvenient. The smart TV required a DSTV account to watch, otherwise... It may suit someone with less experience staying in different places, but I didn’t enjoy feeling monitored like a child or student.
