Manhattan on Coral 7

The location worked well for us, with the beach a short walk away and shops and upmarket malls nearby. WiFi was great, and the washing machine was a welcome surprise. They also gave us a free bottle of wine at check-in, something I’d never received at any of the many places I’ve stayed. For what we paid, it was incredible, and it seems ideal for a solo traveller or a couple. We spent 5 nights in June at Number 3 Manhattan On Coral. It’s a small studio, but the tasteful furnishings and good equipment made it feel less cramped. The patio was a good size for outdoor seating and had a gas braai, though it rained the whole time so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor space. Even with the cold, rainy weather, the heater and extra blankets kept us warm inside. Swimming towels were provided too. Security in the complex was good without being overly complicated. There’s secure undercover parking behind an electric roll-up garage door, and a lift for the higher units. We were on the 1st floor. I forgot to take photos at check-in, so most of mine are from checkout day. The main drawback was privacy: the apartment faces other apartments, and the patios are separated only by wooden screens.
