The rooms were clean, the host was friendly, and the price felt fair. It’s a pretty setting, too, with good soundproofing. You can go canoeing or take a water bike out. There are usually lots of snakes, insects, rats, ants, and mosquitoes around the Western Cape, but we didn’t see many here. Maybe the windier conditions explain it, and the security was good as well.

The marina looks especially lovely at sunset from one of the paddle boats they provide. The view is impeccable, and the facilities and amenities were great. I only wish we’d had longer there. I’ll be back.

The location is amazing, and I’d stay here again. The place itself is really nice, but some details need attention: the toilet roll holder is missing, the toilet pan is loose, and the duvet cover has a big hole. There weren’t any extra pillows either. For an overnight stay, there was no salt and pepper, fresh milk, or ice.

The paddle boating was a nice bonus, and it was a relaxing, enjoyable stay overall. I just wish the Wi-Fi connection and speed had been better.

Grant was a very accommodating host, and the room was fresh, clean, and well stocked. Marina Views is nicely located overlooking the canal, where you can kayak or use a pedal boat. Taking a tour there is really pretty.
