Mestil Geusthouse was otherwise fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the guesthouse and room were neat and clean, with a tidy hospitality tray. The hot water went cold when I was trying to bathe. The kitchen also needs better utensils: there was no egg lifter, the pan I used was in horrible condition, and the cutlery and crockery could use an upgrade.

It was a relaxing stay and rather good, though the warm water was sometimes a problem. The drain was blocked, so I fixed it myself from outside in. The WiFi also wasn't working when I needed the password, but otherwise things were good.

Ruth made me delicious African meals, and Carol was patient and really accommodating with my needs. I had a great experience and found the comfort affordable. I’ll definitely return, and I highly recommend Mestil Guest house.
