The apartments are quiet and have lovely views from the balcony, and they work very well for self catering. One address detail to watch: "Rockwell Hotel" shares the same physical GPS address as Metropolis Apartments. If you’re booked here, let your visitors know about the conflicting address.

There’s a fantastic view of Table Mountain, and the apartment has comfortable, modern furnishings and secure parking. It’s centrally placed too, within walking distance of restaurants, convenience stores, galleries, and other spots.

We were robbed on our second day, so I can't recommend this hotel/apartments. While we were out, someone from the hotel staff entered the flat, searched our suitcases, and stole money. It was really upsetting. We reported it to management, but a month later the issue still hadn't been resolved. We also filed a complaint with the CPT police department, and sorting this out has turned into a saga.

The apartment itself was fantastic, and I loved the themes and décor. It’s a perfect base for getting around the CBD of CPT. Check-in could have been a bit quicker and smoother.

Winsome was a friendly, supportive host and always available as a guide by message or phone, though I didn't get to meet her. The apartment is bright and airy, with a lovely balcony, a TV with a setup box for local channels, and useful extras like an iron. It has a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, cooking stove, fridge, chimney, dishwasher, cutlery, and the other necessary amenities. There’s bathroom water heating and bed warming for winter. The location is convenient for Cape Town’s main business areas, with CTICC, V&A Waterfront, and many corporate offices within walking distance. Supermarkets and a wide range of restaurants are nearby, from Indian (jewel of India) and Turkish to pizza hut and KFC. It can be booked through the Airbnb website.
