Ed made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay in the outstanding self-contained double ensuite room. He was wonderfully gracious, helped with our laundry, and gave us a hand getting to know the area. We had an incredible time at the Bantry Bay Guesthouse and hope to visit Ed again on a future trip to Cape Town. -Adam and Karen

We keep coming back to Bantry Bay Guesthouse whenever we're in Cape Town. It's clean, affordable, and set in a lovely safe area, just 150 meters from the ocean. Camps Bay is a 10-minute walk away, and the Waterfront is about five minutes by car. Ed and Alan are terrific hosts who know the Western Cape well. Fantastic place, you couldn't ask for much better. Totally recommend it!

When you're back at Nr 9 Brompton rd, Bantry Bay Guest house, the clean rooms, charming host, and a great night's sleep make it feel like home. It's a little gem for a quiet traveler. The beaches, high street, malls, and shops are all a short walk away, so it's easy to spend your days exploring Cape Town. Whether you're traveling solo for the sights and adventures or coming as a couple for sunsets and white sandy beaches, the location works well. I was very happy and would recommend it, and I'll return :)

Ed was friendly and helpful, and we loved how well situated the house was. We spent five nights in the basement room, which was cosy, very clean, comfortable, and had its own proper entrance :)

The owners were helpful, and supermarkets and trendy restaurants are an easy walk away. The place is clean, quiet, smoke-free, and centrally located, with an extra-long bed.
