I called to reserve a room and was told it was available. I checked again that it was on the way, but when I arrived, they'd given the room to someone else and left me stranded. Primrose checked with another guesthouse and managed to book me a room there.

The location felt welcoming, and the place was neat and well organised. Miss Elizabeth at reception was friendly and made me feel welcome. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

I left straight away. It didn't look like the photos or match what the bio said, and I found it really unprofessional. I wouldn't suggest anyone go there. As I was heading to reception, I saw a group of men cooking in the kitchen and drinking Black Labels. I wouldn't feel comfortable receiving people in that setting. I also felt they didn't respect guests' privacy. You're paying for a room to get away from home, after all.

We paid for a booking for five people, then found out at the guesthouse there was only one bathroom and toilet for all of us. The place looks really good online, but it felt like false advertising. Now the owner doesn't want to refund us.
