The staff were friendly and quick to deal with the noise when I asked, though a few guests were loud during my stay. The lodge is also in a safe, convenient spot, with a My City bus stop right outside and the beach, Spar, restaurants, and several laundromats within walking distance. My unit was very neat and tastefully furnished, with everything I needed for a longer stay, including an iron and board, hair dryer, microwave, and washing machine. The machine couldn't be used because of water restrictions. I had a really good stay and would happily return.

It's peaceful here, and the location is so handy. Everything I wanted was within 800m, so I could park and walk wherever I was going.

The apartment was cosy, clean, and only a short walk from the beach. Mine had two bedrooms, was on the second floor, and looked out toward Table Mountain. There are a game room and an unheated pool too. I was disappointed by the limited, unclear TV channels, and there was no tea or coffee, no soap, and only one small shampoo and bath foam tube for a four-day stay.

The units were spacious and finished very neatly, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. They even agreed to my request for a later checkout. I was initially disappointed that the resort wasn't on the beach, but I ended up enjoying my stay.

We were so unhappy with the place that we ended up finding somewhere else on the same road, and might try a guest house next time. The rooms are very small, the TV feels ancient, and the kitchen barely has room for three people. The caretaker isn't available after six in the evening, and even when around, he was no help. The advertisement was misleading. I can't see how this is a Touchdown Resort.
