The hosts were very friendly, and the area is lively, popular and quite upmarket. There are great beaches and plenty of restaurants with outdoor seating. The view is beautiful, though the petrol station across the road partly blocks the outlook from Studio 1.

The location is handy, close to the restaurants, and Shannon was a very accommodating host. We stayed in Studio 1, but the garage across the road blocked our view, so I'd suggest Studio 2 instead. I liked having all the DSTV channels, unlike the roughly eight many hotels offer. The self-catering setup worked well for us: toaster, kettle, pots and pans, plus a gas braai and dishwasher. We could sleep in and didn't have to worry about missing a breakfast cutoff. I'd come back. A few things could be better. Since the whole studio is tiled, bedroom slippers would be nice, and I'd prefer body wash to just soap. The braai hadn't been cleaned when the room was serviced. Checkout was at 10, which we knew, but staff started bothering us at 9:30. At 10 I opened the door and a staff member pushed her way in, which felt very rude and should be addressed.

The service was friendly, everything was very clean, and the view was beautiful. I'd recommend staying here.
