Ocean View House was fantastic for our six nights there in September 2025. The gardens and views were amazing, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of healthy choices. It’s an easy walk to Camps Bay, and Uber taxis are easy to get. Highly recommended.

We had a great time at Ocean View House. The property is beautiful and the service is top notch. We also took the private winelands tour offered by the hotel, and it was well worth the money. We’ll stay here again on future visits.

The views of the mountains were stunning, and the hotel is visually striking. Staff were excellent, and breakfast was superb. We had a great stay, with central Camps Bay about a 10-minute walk away; the walk felt safe. Our room was smaller than the others we stayed in on this trip, and the bathroom felt basic, without a power or rain shower. The air conditioning was noisy, and there was building work outside our room that we hadn’t been told about.

We were a family of three in the Panoramic apartments, and the sofa bed for our child had an excellent quality mattress. The beds were so comfortable, and the view was out of this world. A truly stunning spot by the sea, like an oasis. Friendly staff and superb breakfast.

Ocean View House is a quiet refuge from busy Cape Town. Our room was large and beautiful, with an incredible ocean view, and the gardens were lovely and well maintained. Everyone on staff was warm and friendly, and the service was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful breakfast each morning. The spa massages are amazing, so be sure to book one during your stay.
