The area has plenty of good restaurants and a nice beach walk, and I felt really good there. The bed was great, the room was very clean, and I slept like a baby. Breakfast was great too. The Olaf´s staff were helpful, funny, and always smiling. Fantastic place, highly recommended!

We were three adults sharing one room, and the aircon was a welcome plus. The hosts made us feel personally welcome and were so friendly and helpful. We loved the character of the house and garden, tucked away on a quiet but central street. The pickup service was great too. We hope to return, and would happily recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Olaf's Guest House. It's a small, handy B&B in Sea Point, with good value, a great breakfast, and very friendly staff. Raymond, the proprietor, speaks fluent German, having lived in Germany, and is a big HSV fan. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance, plus plenty of parking.

The staff were lovely and the location was great, but this didn't feel like a luxury stay. It was comfortable enough, though the furnishings really need upgrading. Some of the power points are awkwardly tucked behind the sofa, and the room layouts could use more thought. The descriptions set expectations much too high, which was disappointing. After staying at several places over a five-week holiday, I also found this poor value.

Raymond, the owner, was accommodating and great to deal with, and the staff were terrific too. I loved staying here. It's close to the water in a safe neighborhood, with good restaurants nearby. Getting an Uber to the Waterfront was easy.
